Cromwells Eatery so called after Oliver Cromwell who stayed at Whitehall Cottage just a short distance from the hotel, the night before the Battle of Preston.

Our menus are changed twice a week using the best of local and regional ingredients.

You do NOT have to stay here to eat here! Non-residents are always welcome.

Afternoon Tea

We also offer an extensive afternoon tea programe, which features a selection of sandwiches, homemade baked cakes & scones.

We are more than happy to cater for most dietary requirements. Our afternoon teas are freshly made and therefore we do need at least 48 hours notice.
